Does your son or daughter want to be a veterinarian?
This entry level camp is designed for kids who want to learn what it takes to be a veterinarian and work with animals. Guest speakers, field trips, and hands-on activities will give campers insight into the daily life of a vet, including skills, challenges and techniques needed for this amazing career. Campers learn about a variety of body systems and how they work together to create living creatures. Some of the procedures your child will learn, participate, and engage with may include wellness exams, splinting and bandaging, microscopes, suturing, ornithology and/or herpetology, and more. Campers will have hands-on activities with animals including cats, farm animals, and more.
This camp is very learning intensive and involves an in-depth analysis of many veterinary related concepts. Recommended for campers with good focus skills who are eager and willing to investigate complex topics.
