Future Vet
June
​15-19
This camp focuses on body systems of animals and how veterinarians train and work. Campers will get to learn about microscopes, diseases, suturing, bandaging, and how to perform a veterinary exam.  There will be lots of fun projects, field trips, speakers, games and (of course) animal interactions of all kinds all week.  Camper's will even get their own vet scrub top to keep!
Kids who love all animals and are interested in a career as a vet.  Vet campers may be split by age for some activities and topics are adjusted accordingly.  This camp has TONS of great information about all aspects of being a vet. Great for campers who are focused, detail oriented, and eager to explore veterinary medicine/care in great detail.


Art of the Animal
​ ​Camp

15-19
This advanced art camp features animal-themed projects in various mediums.  Campers will learn about composition, color theory, and design while exploring their own individual creative style. By the end of the week, each camper will master multiple techniques in glass, wood, resin, painting, and more AND each will have a variety of fabulous artwork to take home!
Kids who are creative and detail oriented will enjoy this more advanced program.  There will be lots of time to really develop their own individual animal-centric artistic vision.  And fun time with cool animals is also included!


Dogs Rule Camp

Campers will learn all about the anatomy, genetics, care, and life of canines.  Information will be combined with fun projects, art-work, guest speakers, and field trips.  ​

​Kids who love dogs, naturally. Dog campers investigate  all areas of dog-ness.  Great for kids who are creative and love learning fun facts. Lots of great speakers and art projects with (you guessed it!) a pupper theme.  Please keep in mind that we are a cat rescue and always have cats on-site.

This camp has a Taylor Swift theme. Campers will learn all about the anatomy, genetics, care and life of cats with Taylor-themed projects, art-work, guest speakers & field trips. ​
Kids who love cats AND Taylor Swift.  There will be lots of great information and learning about cats with an emphasis on fun Taylor Swift music and activities.


Pet Care ​ ​Camp
July
6-10
During this week participants will learn about the care of many different types of pets.  Grooming, feeding, supplies needed, special needs, and overall care will be discussed.  Campers will be able to interact with a variety of pets including farm animals, house pets, and exotics.  Learning will be supported with art projects, crafts, games, guest speakers and field trips.

Kids who are fascinated by a variety of pets and are interested in learning what it takes to own and care for different animals with different needs.  There will be lots of information to digest, but also fun games and activities for each animal presented.


Cat ​ Camp
July
13-17
Campers will learn all about the anatomy, genetics, care, and life of felines.  Information will be combined with fun projects, art-work, guest speakers, and field trips.  ​

Kids who love cats, of course. Cat campers delve deeply into all areas of cat-ness.  Great for kids who are creative and love learning fun facts. Lots of great speakers and art projects with (you guessed it!) a cat theme.


Rescue Camp

This week focuses on campers creating their own rescue and learning about how different shelters are run. From financials, to management, to cleaning, this camp covers it all!
Kids who love animals, are creative, and are interested in learning to give back to the community.   Rescue campers learn all about how animal shelters are run, then they get creative in developing their own animal rescue from the ground up.  Great for kids who enjoy learning AND creative/artistic expression.

Cool Careers with
​ Critters Camp

27-31
Campers spend the week learning about all the different kinds of animal careers! We cover over 30 different careers and have multiple field trips and guest speakers

Kids who are interested in exploring many different kinds of careers. This camp is filled with great guest speakers and animals.  Something different and new every day.  Great for campers who like to be kept busy and who enjoy a variety of animals.

Creepy Crawly
​ Critter Camp
August
3-7
NEW THIS YEAR!  You asked for it and we heard you!  Creepy Crawly Critter Camp is here!  This week campers will learn all about the anatomy, care, and life of icky things including reptiles, amphibians, isopods, and other creepy things.  Art projects, speakers, field trips and games will all have a creepy crawly focus and we'll have lots of gross stuff to see and learn about.  (And also cats, which are fluffy but that's ok.)​
Kids who love all things that slither and crawl. Campers will delve deeply into all areas of crawly things.  Great for kids who are brave, creative and love learning fun facts. Lots of great speakers and art projects with (you guessed it!) a creepy crawly theme.
